Experienced Forklift Operators Wanted

Wood Personnel is currently hiring experienced forklift operators for multiple manufacturing and distribution facilities in the Nashville, La Vergne, and Mt. Juliet, TN areas. If you have recent experience operating reach trucks, cherry pickers, and/or stand-up forklifts and are looking for a stable, full-time opportunity, we want to hear from you! These are temp-to-hire positions with immediate openings.

Forklift Operator Compensation and Shifts:

• Up to $18.00+ per hour

Forklift Operator Skills and Qualifications:

• Must have at least 6 months of verifiable experience operating a Reach Truck, Cherry Picker, and/or Stand-Up Forklift within the last 3 years
• Experience working in warehouse or distribution environments preferred
• Ability to safely operate lift equipment in a fast-paced environment
• Onsite forklift testing may be required for certain locations

Forklift Operator Duties and Responsibilities:

• Operate Reach Trucks, Cherry Pickers, Stand-Up Forklifts, and other warehouse equipment as assigned
• Load and unload trucks safely and efficiently
• Put away and retrieve product from warehouse racks and storage locations
• Pull and stage orders using lift equipment
• Move palletized product throughout the warehouse
• Maintain a safe work environment and follow all safety procedures
• Perform daily equipment inspections before and after operation
