Registered Nurse Emergency Room

Job Summary:
Provide high-quality emergency nursing care in a rural trauma center with a focus on trauma patients and acute medical conditions. Ensure patient safety and support for both routine and complex cases within a small, fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Assess patient conditions upon arrival and determine priority of care.
• Administer treatments, medications, and interventions as prescribed.
• Monitor patient responses and adjust treatments accordingly.
• Collaborate with physicians and healthcare team members to develop patient care plans.
• Document patient care activities accurately and timely.
• Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans and post-discharge instructions.

Qualifications:

• Valid and active RN license.
• Current TNCC, ACLS, PALS, and BLS certifications.
• Previous ER or trauma center experience preferred.
• Ability to work effectively in a 24-hour ER environment.
• Strong critical thinking and rapid decision-making skills.
