Registered Nurse - CVOR

$2448.00/week - Job Summary: Seeking a skilled CVOR RN to provide specialized cardiovascular surgical care in a fast-paced hospital setting. This role involves supporting cardiac, thoracic, vascular, and robotic procedures with a focus on patient safety and surgical success. Responsibilities: Administer preoperative and intraoperative care for cardiovascular surgery patients. Collaborate with the surgical team to facilitate complex procedures including heart and valve replacements. Ensure proper positioning, prepping, and sterile techniques during surgeries. Utilize advanced equipment such as robotic systems and surgical robots to enhance procedure outcomes. Maintain detailed documentation of patient care and surgical events using Meditech system. Adhere to hospital policies and safety standards, including certification requirements. Qualifications: Hold an active RN license with minimum 2 years of cardiovascular OR experience. Demonstrate thoracic and vascular surgical experience, including heart and valve replacements. Possess strong knowledge of cardiovascular procedures like AAA repair, CABG, and fem-pop bypass. Be proficient in robotic and advanced surgical technology utilization. Maintain BLS certification and relevant hospital or specialty certifications.
