As a Part-Time Security Officer, you can build a schedule that works for you and explore new roles using our Claim a Shift platform. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $23.90 / Hour Job Schedule: Saturday 6:00 AM - 6:00 PM, Sunday 6:00 AM - 6:00 PM. What You'll Do: Provide customer service to visitors, tenants, and staff by carrying out site-specific procedures, front desk protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities. Monitor lobby and reception area activity, manage visitor access procedures, and help to address security-related concerns in a calm, problem-solving manner. Answer phones, greet guests, verify credentials, and maintain logs, reports, and other required documentation for the location. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, professional manner, and communicate with site contacts and/or emergency personnel when needed. Minimum Requirements: Be at least 21 years of age. Have 5 or more years of security-related experience. Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. Access control and badge experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
