Flexible Engagement | Full-Time, Part-Time, Professional Track, or Hourly I'm partnering with a highly regarded law firm seeking an experienced Environmental Real Estate Attorney to support its sophisticated commercial real estate practice. The firm is open to a variety of engagement models, making this an excellent opportunity for attorneys seeking flexibility without sacrificing the quality or complexity of their work. Experience Required: 10+ years of experience handling sophisticated commercial real estate transactions with significant environmental due diligence and regulatory compliance components. The Ideal Background: Significant experience advising on commercial real estate transactions involving environmental risk and due diligence Working knowledge of RCRA, CERCLA, environmental remediation, and agency enforcement matters Experience identifying and allocating environmental liabilities in acquisitions, financing, development, and dispositions Ability to work collaboratively with real estate, finance, and environmental attorneys on sophisticated commercial transactions Preferred Experience Includes: Industrial and manufacturing facilities Energy and infrastructure projects Brownfield redevelopment Logistics and distribution centers Mixed-use and multifamily developments involving environmental remediation Commercial real estate finance with complex environmental diligence This is not a litigation-focused environmental role. The practice is centered on high-value commercial real estate transactions where environmental due diligence, regulatory compliance, and risk allocation are critical to successful deal execution.
