Gotham Enterprises Ltd is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Professional Counselor to join our team in Hillsboro, Kansas. This role is primarily remote, allowing for flexibility while still offering essential in-person interactions within our outpatient office. The facility is designed to be a nurturing space, promoting positivity and comfort for our patients during their therapy sessions. Our standard operating hours are Monday to Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with occasional evening shifts available to meet the needs of our clients.

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments to identify and understand the needs and challenges of children and adolescents.

• Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans that incorporate developmental considerations and family dynamics.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions to effectively address a wide array of mental health concerns such as anxiety, depression, ADHD, and behavioral disorders.

• Lead family therapy sessions to strengthen familial support systems and enhance communication among parents, caregivers, and children.
\n
• Collaborate with child psychiatrists and other multidisciplinary team members to coordinate comprehensive care, ensuring all aspects of a child's treatment are addressed.

• Provide crisis intervention and be a source of support during mental health emergencies involving young patients.
\n
• Educate patients and their families about mental health issues, treatment methodologies, and available community support resources.
\n
• Maintain accurate, timely, and confidential records that comply with legal and ethical standards, utilizing our electronic health record (EHR) system.
\n
• Actively participate in professional development activities, including team meetings and case consultations, to refine skills and stay updated on best practices.

• Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from a recognized institution is required.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LCPC, or LCMFT in the state of Kansas.

• A minimum of two years of post-licensure experience working with children and adolescents is preferred.
\n
• Comprehensive knowledge of child and adolescent mental health disorders and various therapeutic modalities.
\n
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a patient-centered and empathetic approach.
\n
• Proven ability to build rapport and trust with young patients and their families.
\n
• Proficient in using electronic health records and various computer applications necessary for documentation and communication.

• A collaborative mindset, essential for working effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
