JOB DESCRIPTION

Department: Orthopedics Unit

• S hift Timings: 19:00-07:30 Hours Monday to Friday (3 Days/12 Hours Shift)
• Per Week: 36 Hours
• BLS, NIH; EOW; EOH ; 1 year of med/surg experience needed, EPIC is charting system; may need to float onsite within skill set or to sites within 40 miles if needed

Roles & Responsibilities

• Implement and monitor patient care plans. Monitor, record, and communicate patient condition as appropriate.
• Serve as a primary coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care.
• Note and carry out physician and nursing orders.
• Assess and coordinate patient's discharge planning needs with members of the healthcare team.

QUALIFICATIONS
• BLS and ACLS
• National Institutes of Health (NIH)
• Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology.
• The ability to stand for extended periods.
• Strong technical skills.
• Knowledge of medical terminology
• Passionate about patient care
• Requires a minimum of two years of current RN Emergency Room experience.
• Graduate from a fully accredited RN program
• Active unencumbered Wisconsin RN state license
• One year of Cerner FirstNet experience


Requirements
• COVID vaccine with 2 Shots & Booster.
