Senior Estimator

Location: St. Louis Metro Area, MO
Full-Time | Direct Hire

A growing industrial manufacturing company is seeking a Senior Estimator to develop cost estimates, pricing models, and proposals for capital equipment and industrial projects. This role works closely with sales, engineering, manufacturing, and project management teams to support new business opportunities and deliver competitive project bids.

Responsibilities

• Review customer RFQs, specifications, and technical drawings.
• Develop budgetary, conceptual, and firm-price estimates.
• Solicit and evaluate vendor and subcontractor quotations.
• Define project scope, assumptions, and pricing strategies.
• Prepare proposal packages and supporting documentation.
• Assess project risks and recommend contingency factors.
• Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, procurement, and sales teams throughout the proposal process.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of estimating experience in industrial manufacturing, capital equipment, industrial construction, process systems, or related industries.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Experience developing detailed cost estimates and proposals.
• Strong Excel, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and project coordination abilities.

Preferred Experience

• Industrial equipment, material handling systems, process equipment, combustion systems, thermal processing equipment, or heavy manufacturing environments.
• Engineering, manufacturing, or EPC project experience.
