Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct perioperative nursing care within a high-volume operating room environment, maintaining a 1:1 patient ratio
• Perform scrub and/or circulating duties across a broad range of surgical service lines including general, GYN, robotics, neuro, orthopedics, plastic surgery, urology, burn, and trauma
• Utilize the Cerner documentation system for accurate and timely patient charting
• Participate in a variable schedule with on-call responsibilities as required
• May float to other departments in accordance with facility floating policy

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license valid in North Carolina (or compact license eligibility)
• Minimum of 2 years of operating room nursing experience
• Broad surgical knowledge with demonstrated experience across multiple surgical service lines
• Proficiency or ability to quickly adapt to Cerner electronic health records
• Ability to fulfill on-call requirements and maintain a variable schedule

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience in robotic-assisted surgical procedures
• Background in trauma and/or burn surgery settings
• Familiarity with high-acuity, large-volume hospital environments
