Job Details Job Location: SMF - West Sacramento, CA 95691 Position Type: Full Time Education Level: None Salary Range: $18.00 - $20.00 Hourly Travel Percentage: None Job Summary Position Type: Full-Time Pay Range: $18.00+ DOE Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM The Operations Clerk supports CSE operations in the performance of daily clerical activities which includes, but is not limited to, responding to internal and external customer inquiries, preparing operational reports, and performing data entry with high attention to detail. The Operations Clerk is responsible for accurately labeling and manifesting shipments and regularly auditing shipment tags to ensure all scheduled pick up and deliveries are executed. The Operations Clerk will assist in the recovery, delivery and verification of freight and shipping documentation. California Sierra Express has been serving the air freight logistics industry for over 35 years. We operate six freight terminals in CA and one in Reno, NV. We're an overnight carrier serving international and domestic freight forwarders as a final mile Pick-Up and Delivery agent for shipments that travel around the globe. You'll be joining a local team of over 30 people all committed to providing the best service possible to our customers who trust Cal Sierra to move their shipments on-time throughout the greater Sacramento Area. Some college, preferred. Minimum of one (1) year of general office experience. Work Experience in similar position in Transportation industry preferred. Ability to demonstrate consistent quality internal and external customer service. Ability to perform basic math functions such as add, subtract, multiply and divide.
