POSITION SUMMARY
Innovent is seeking a Manager/Senior Manager for Global Brand Strategy & Corporate Communications to help execute and steward a unified global corporate branding and communications strategy aligned with Innovent’s corporate strategy and leadership.
This role is responsible for translating corporate strategy into a consistent external narrative across media engagement, brand positioning, conference presence, and co-branding coordination with subsidiary teams.
The ideal candidate is a seasoned communications professional (approximately 5-8 years of relevant experience, strong writing and organizational skills, and the ability to operate effectively in a complex biotech environment. This individual should be comfortable managing external partners and coordinating across internal functions. The role reports to Innovent’s Head of Global Public Relations and is based in the United States, with domestic and international travel required to support conferences, media engagements, and key corporate events.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Corporate Strategy Alignment & Brand Execution
- Execute Innovent’s global corporate branding and communications strategy in alignment with corporate strategy, leadership priorities, and oversight from Head of Global Public Relations, ensuring external communications reinforce strategic objectives.
- Translate corporate strategy into coordinated global messaging, assets, and communications across all external brand channels, ensuring a consistent and unified brand expression.
- Define, align, and maintain Innovent’s core narrative through close cross-functional partnership, ensuring a consistent brand voice across internal and external communications.
- Own and maintain the global corporate narrative calendar aligned with corporate strategy milestones, investor communications, and media cycles, ensuring disciplined and timely storytelling across the organization.
Media & External Corporate Reputation
- Build and execute proactive global media narratives aligned with corporate strategy, ensuring timely positioning around key clinical, regulatory, conference, and corporate milestones.
- Manage and cultivate relationships with tier-1 healthcare, trade and business media to support consistent and credible external visibility for Innovent.
- Prepare executive spokespersons for media engagements, including message development, briefing materials, and Q&A preparation.
Conference & Global Visibility Strategy
- Lead Innovent’s corporate brand presence at major global conferences, ensuring consistent visibility across scientific, media, and stakeholder touchpoints (e.g., ASCO, ESMO, AACR).
- Align conference messaging and execution with corporate strategy and leadership priorities, coordinating executive communications and media engagement.
Reputation & Perception Tracking
- Monitor and analyze external perception of Innovent across media, scientific, investor, and industry audiences, delivering regular insights to leadership on brand positioning effectiveness.
- Benchmark Innovent's brand presence and narrative consistency against global biotech peers, identifying gaps and recommending strategic adjustments.
Subsidiary Co-Branding Coordination
- Develop and maintain a structured dual-brand framework governing the Innovent and subsidiary relationship, covering logo usage, visual identity standards, messaging hierarchy, and external-facing materials.
- Partner cross-functionally to apply the co-branding framework consistently across all channels, events, and communications touchpoints

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Life Sciences, Business, or a related field preferred
- Minimum 5-8 years of relevant experience in corporate communications, brand strategy, public relations, or related fields
- Demonstrated experience translating business or corporate strategy into executed communications, messaging, and brand outputs
- Prior experience in media relations, including preparing messaging and engaging with external media
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to develop clear, compelling, and audience-appropriate narratives
- Strong project management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and timelines
- Proven ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams within a fast-paced, collaborative environment
- Experience managing or coordinating with external partners (e.g., PR agencies, creative agencies)
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Advanced degree (e.g., Master’s) in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, or a related field
- Experience in biotech, pharmaceutical, healthcare, or other science-driven industries; candidates from adjacent industries (e.g., technology) with strong communications experience will also be considered
- Demonstrated ability in scientific or technical writing, including translating complex concepts into accessible messaging
- Experience working alongside commercial and/or marketing teams, with an understanding of how brand and communications intersect with broader business functions
- Strong visual and narrative storytelling capabilities, including development of presentations and external-facing materials
- Experience supporting communications around major milestones (e.g., product launches, data releases, corporate announcements, or large industry events)
- Familiarity with global communications environments and cross-cultural collaboration
- Fluency in business Mandarin (written and spoken)

SPECIAL CONDITIONS
- This position may be eligible for a hybrid flexible work arrangement, which could include a non-standard work schedule, and/or the ability to work off-site for a portion of each week.
- Ability to work flexible schedule, occasional evenings/nights, weekends and holidays, often on short notice to meet operational needs.

Compensation
The base salary range for this position is $110,000.00 to $165,000.00. Actual starting pay is determined based on the candidate's years of relevant experience, educational background, and demonstrated skills.
