Seven Healthcare are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Medical Surgical care for a travel assignment in Peoria, IL. This role is crucial within the acute care department, focusing on diverse patient needs and maintaining a balanced nurse-to-patient ratio. The environment includes 12-hour night shifts, preparing nurses for an engaging and dynamic work setting.

Key Responsibilities of the RN - Med Surg - Travel

• Provide comprehensive care for patients with GI bleeds, sepsis, CHF, COVID, among other medical diagnoses
• Titrate Heparin drips as required
• Collaborate with a 24-hour Charge RN and Crisis RN, ensuring optimal patient care and support
• Monitor patients using house-wide telemetry systems
• Float to other med/surg-like units if necessary while maintaining the standards of care

Requirements of the RN - Med Surg - Travel

• Active IL RN license or confirmation that application process has been initiated
• BLS certification
• Experience in an Acute Care setting
