Responsibilities

• Plan, implement, and evaluate individualized ICU patient care based on age-specific data, physical and psychosocial status.
• Perform ongoing assessments, document findings, and interpret laboratory/test results with patient response to interventions.
• Participate in multidisciplinary care planning, identifying patient needs to support optimal outcomes.
• Support and educate patients and families, including discharge planning and tailored teaching.
• Assist other team members in delivering high-quality patient care and ensuring safety in the ICU setting.

Requirements

• Active Illinois registered nurse (IL RN) license; Nursys must reflect active IL license.
• ACLS (American Heart Association) and BLS (American Heart Association) certification required; ACLS must be current within 30 days of start.
• Minimum 2 years of ICU experience (required).
• Skills checklist current within 12 months relevant to ICU specialty (required).
• Completion of 2 Supervisory Reference Forms with dates employed listed (required).
• Non-local candidates only; 50-mile radius restriction applies.
• Ability to work in an ICU setting on a travel assignment.
