Supply Chain Manager

Job Description

Insight Global is looking for a Supply Chain Manager to lead end-to-end supply chain operations to ensure the efficient sourcing, production, and delivery of high-quality products. This role is responsible for optimizing procurement, inventory, logistics, and supplier performance while maintaining compliance with industry, safety, and quality standards.

• Develop and execute supply chain strategies that support manufacturing and operational goals

• Manage procurement of materials, components, and services required for production

• Build and maintain strong supplier relationships; assess performance and drive improvements

• Oversee and maintain an approved supplier list and ensure suppliers meet quality and compliance expectations

• Partner with suppliers to establish and track performance metrics (KPIs)

• Lead logistics operations, including transportation, warehousing, and inventory control

• Monitor supply chain performance, providing reporting, forecasting, and insights to leadership

• Identify risks and implement mitigation plans to ensure continuity of supply

• Mentor and manage supply chain team members, promoting accountability and collaboration

• Ensure processes and procedures are documented, standardized, and consistently followed

• Communicate effectively with stakeholders on performance, risks, and improvement opportunities

Salary: $64,000 - $96,000

Skills and Requirements

• Bachelors Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration or related field

• 5+ years experience in supply chain management in an aerospace and manufacturing environment

• Strong understanding of aerospace industry regulations and quality standards (AS9100, NADCAP, ISO9001)

• Proficient in supply chain software and tools MRP and ERP

• Lean manufacturing principals

• Knowledge of global supply chain practices and regulations specific to the aerospace industry

• Ability to obtain a clearance - Experience using Epicore for Supply Chain Management

• Experience being in the composite industry - Understanding the shelf life, coordination and logistics

• Active Secret Clearance
