• Starting Pay: $30.00 per hour
• Annual Pay Increases: Performance and tenure-based wage increases

Position Summary
Hire Up Staffing Services is seeking dependable and safety-focused Class A Delivery Drivers to join our transportation team. This position is responsible for safely operating a Class A commercial vehicle to deliver products to local customer locations while providing exceptional customer service. Drivers will unload deliveries, merchandise products as needed, maintain accurate delivery documentation, and ensure all DOT and company safety standards are met.


This is a full-time opportunity for individuals who enjoy working independently, maintaining strong customer relationships, and taking pride in delivering excellent service.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Safely operate a Class A commercial vehicle on established local delivery routes.
• Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
• Load, unload, and transport products using pallet jacks, hand trucks, and other equipment.
• Deliver products accurately and efficiently while providing outstanding customer service.
• Verify delivery quantities and obtain required customer signatures.
• Maintain accurate invoices, delivery paperwork, route documentation, and payment records.
• Merchandise products by stocking shelves, rotating inventory, organizing back stock, and building displays as needed.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe delivery vehicle.
• Follow all DOT regulations, FMCSA requirements, and company safety policies.
• Maintain regular attendance and punctuality.
• Work collaboratively with warehouse staff, dispatch, and management to ensure efficient deliveries.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

QualificationsRequired

• Valid Class A Commercial Driver License (CDL).
• Current DOT Medical Examiner's Certificate.
• Clean driving record and ability to meet company insurance requirements.
• Ability to pass DOT-required drug and alcohol screenings.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Basic math skills for invoices and delivery documentation.
• Ability to work independently while managing time effectively.
• Professional appearance and positive attitude.

Preferred

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Previous delivery driving or route delivery experience.
• Experience operating pallet jacks, hand trucks, and other material handling equipment.

Physical Requirements
The employee must be able to:

• Frequently lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
• Occasionally lift up to 150 pounds with assistance.
• Stand, walk, bend, stoop, kneel, climb, crouch, twist, and reach throughout the workday.
• Sit for extended periods while operating a commercial vehicle.
• Push and pull loaded hand trucks and pallet jacks.
• Work in varying weather conditions.
