Demand Planner

Demand PlannerThe Demand Planner will work cross functionally with various departments (Procurement, Quality, and Client Services) to successfully manage and monitor material availability, forecast production, and track client orders to completion.Responsibilities of the Position:Efficiently plan production to minimize company costs and meet product delivery deadlinesCoordinate and communicate across multiple departments to problem solve and manage the Production schedule for all departmentsProvide leadership and recommend scheduling adjustments to accommodate changing business needs or customer requestsWillingness to be flexible in a multi-cultural operational environmentMeet deadlines and demonstrate effective time management skillsMonitor the production process and recommend process improvementsAnalyze future forecasting reports and offer solutions to avoid potential bottlenecksAnalyze material requirements to ensure successful production executionUpload and maintain client demand in Syteline (ERP system)Meet with client planners on a weekly basis to manage their weekly schedule, address material issues, and address any future capacity bottlenecksCoordinate material requirements with the Procurement DepartmentManage project start dates, deadlines, and target quantitiesComply with company rules regarding food safety, discipline, and regulationsPerform other duties as assigned by ManagementKnowledge/Skills/Abilities:Knowledge of ERP software experience; Syteline and SAP experience is a plusStrong written and verbal communication skills – Bilingual in Spanish is a plusStrong attention to detailAble to adapt to fast paced environment with changing circumstances, direction, and strategyProficient in Microsoft Office SuiteEducation and Experience:Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Production Management or equivalent preferred; High School Diploma or GED requiredFood Safety Responsibilities:Attend all food safety training sessions (GMP, SQF, HACCP, Allergen, Food Facility Security, Preventing Foodborne Illness)Participate in company GMP walksEnforce company rules regarding food safety and monitoringWorking Conditions:Office setting and warehouse environment with temperature range of 55 – 80 degreesPhysical Requirements:Operate standard office equipmentReach with hands and armsLift up to 25 pounds
