Job Summary
Registered Nurse (RN), Cardiac Cath Lab St. Louis, MO. The organization is seeking an RN to circulate and monitor procedures in a cardiac interventional cath lab. Responsibilities include providing direct patient care for all age groups through assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation, as well as coordinating care activities with ancillary departments to optimize patient care and comfort. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day.

Job Details

• Schedule: Days, 4x10, 06301700; minimum hours per week: 40.
• Required Qualifications: Current RN license that meets the criteria to be eligible for licensure in Missouri or currently licensed in the state of Missouri; Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) from the American Heart Association (AHA) only; Cardiac Invasive Cath Lab experience of at least 2 years.
• Preferred Qualifications: Cardiac Invasive Cath Lab experience of 4 years.
• Responsibilities: Circulates and monitors procedures in the cardiac interventional cath lab; performs direct patient care activities for all age groups, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation; monitors and coordinates patient care activities with ancillary departments to optimize patient care and comfort; functions within the scope of nursing preparation consistent with established guidelines of nursing practice and the Missouri Nurse Practice Act.
• Additional Information: Weekend hours may be required as determined by the facility and may be scheduled every other weekend; flu vaccination compliance is required for travelers during November 1 through April 1, and a flu vaccination exemption is required for those exempted from vaccination (declinations are not accepted); float rotation may be required.
