Customer Support Representative

Restaurant Supply Chain Solutions, LLC, a Yum! Brands Co-op, is currently seeking a Customer Support Representative to join the Restaurant Customer Support Team in Louisville, KY. Hybrid schedule: 3 days in the office, 2 days remote. Monday through Friday, first shift—no weekends. Overview of the Position This position is responsible for managing front‑facing duties such as processing orders for replacement equipment that primarily come via phone calls. The role responds to inbound calls with questions related to order status, returns, credits, and invoice issues, maintaining product knowledge to provide quick, accurate assistance. Excellent customer service standards are required to maintain high customer satisfaction with franchisees and suppliers. Essential Functions Process orders for replacement equipment: enter orders accurately and with appropriate lead times, determine accurate equipment selection with correct technical specifications, resolve product, warranty, or service problems by clarifying the issue, determining the cause, and expediting correction. Respond to inbound calls: process orders, address order status or invoice issues, and reach out to suppliers to resolve tracking discrepancies or other problems. Utilize tools, reports, and processes: monitor customer and supplier reporting, track open order reports to ensure on‑time delivery, use key tools to provide customer shipping and status information, and maintain proficiency in ERP, SharePoint, and Knowledge Management Systems. Ensure customer service KPIs are met: attend equipment and asset training, provide support to resolve customer escalations and supplier issues, demonstrate solid equipment knowledge and provide technical information, support other duties as needed. Pursue ongoing personal and professional development. Assume other duties as assigned. Required Education, Experience, and Skills Bachelor’s degree preferred. Minimum of 3 years of experience in order fulfillment, customer service, or sales support. Strong order entry skills and ability to use multiple systems. Prefer experience with restaurant equipment and supporting field/construction/development projects. Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills. High ability to multitask under tight deadlines. Excellent written and verbal skills.
