Qualifications as an Activity Aid: High school graduate or equivalent Prior experience as activity assistant Prior experience in Long-Term Care/Healthcare is preferred Empathy and care for those that need help Effective communication skills Responsibilities as an Activity Aid Include: Lead scheduled activities programs that inspire spiritual, cognitive, social, physical, and creative expressions Assist with the organizing, planning, and implementation of programs and opportunities that promote resident well-being Enthusiastically promote and communicate programs and events to residents Passionately motivate and serve residents of varying cognitive and physical abilities Interact with families and visitors of our residents #J-18808-Ljbffr
