Private Equity VP, Industrials
Alexander Chapman
A growing lower middle-market private equity firm is looking to hire a Vice President to join its investment team in New York. The firm has a strong track record and an established focus on Industrial and Manufacturing businesses . The team is continuing to grow and is looking for an experienced investor who can step in and take meaningful ownership across the investment process.
The experience expected from applicants, as well as additional skills and qualifications needed for this job are listed below.
The Role:
- Work across sourcing, underwriting, execution and portfolio management
- Evaluate lower middle-market opportunities across Industrial & Manufacturing
- Work closely with senior members of the investment team
- Take meaningful ownership of transactions and investment decisions
- Join a lean, entrepreneurial team with significant capital to deploy
The Ideal Candidate:
- Investment banking + private equity background
- Strong M&A and transaction experience
- Current VP or Senior Associate ready to step into a VP role
- Experience investing xhyhwjd in Industrial, Manufacturing or related sectors
- Candidates from larger-cap PE platforms looking for more ownership and impact in the lower middle market are encouraged to apply
- Strong investment banking candidates may also be considered
- NYC preferred; relocation possible for the right candidate
- US work authorization required
