This relies on systems engineering principles to design and implement solutions that span the data lifecycle to: collect, ingest, process, store, persist, access, and deliver data at scale and at speed. It includes knowledge of local, distributed, and cloud-based technologies; data virtualization and smart caching; and all security and authentication mechanisms required to protect the data.Build data pipelines that clean, transform, and aggregate unorganized data into databases or data sources that are ready for analysis; Design and implement data solutions by defining functional capabilities, security, back-up, and recovery specifications; Work through all stages of a data solution lifecycle, e.g., analyze / profile data, create conceptual, logical and physical data model designs, architect and design ETL, reporting and analytics; Maintain data systems performance by identifying and resolving production and application development problems; calculating optimum values for parameters; evaluating, integrating, and installing new releases; Define standards, best practices, and certification processes for data objectsBasic QualificationsDegree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field.10 or more years of data engineering experience, including 3 or more years supporting AI and machine-learning systems and experience with business intelligence and data warehousing concepts such as ETL, data modeling, and reporting.5 or more years of experience in data analysis and data or system architecture.Interim or Active U.S. Government Security Clearance.Ability to obtain special program access.Strong proficiency with Eqube, neo4j, and SAP Hana.Hands-on experience building ETL or ELT pipelines at scale.Experience with Agile methodsDesired SkillsExperience designing and building ontologies, taxonomies, or knowledge graphs.Experience with OrientDB, graphDB, or similar open source software packages.Experience with TeamCenter PLM, Solumina IbaseT, ERP4C or similar PLM/MES/ERP systems.Demonstrated ability to establish strong team relationships and deliver an exceptional customer experience.Excellent organizational, time-management, analytical, and problem-solving skills.Master's degree in a related technical fieldPay InformationFull-Time Salary Range: $104900.00 - $194700.00At Lockheed Martin, we know mission success starts with taking care of our people.
