What You'll Do
As the Company Accountant, you'll play a key role in managing our day-to-day financial operations and supporting strategic decision-making. Your responsibilities will include:
- Managing accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and bank reconciliations
- Preparing monthly financial statements and internal reports
- Maintaining the general ledger and ensuring accuracy of financial data
- Leading budgeting and forecasting processes
- Ensuring compliance with tax regulations and coordinating with external CPAs
- Analyzing financial performance and providing insights to leadership
- Improving and implementing accounting systems and internal controls
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar accounting role
- Proficiency in QuickBooks or similar accounting software
- Strong understanding of small business financial practices
- High attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
- Strong communication and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work independently and take initiative
- CPA certification or currently pursuing CPA
- Experience with payroll systems like Gusto or ADP
