Emergency Room Physician (Level 2) — Contract Opportunity

Pay Rate: $200+ per hour

Position Overview

HiredFirst is seeking experienced Emergency Medicine or Family Medicine Physicians for a Level 2 Emergency Department contract opportunity in Oklahoma. This is a high-acuity, fast-paced environment ideal for providers who thrive in a collaborative, team-driven setting.

Schedule & Hours

• 36 hours per week (Full-Time)

• Day and Night Shifts Available

  • Day Shifts: 7a–7p, 8a–8p, 10a–10p, 11a–11p, 12p–12a

  • Night Shift: 7p–7a

• Must be flexible to cover nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Compensation

• $200+ hourly

• Contract engagement via Altitude Talent Group

• Weekly direct deposit

Requirements

• Active Oklahoma MD License (required)

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Emergency Medicine or Family Medicine

• Minimum 2 years of experience in Emergency or Urgent Care settings

• Current ACLS, PALS, and BLS certifications

• Comfortable treating all age ranges — acute and chronic cases

• Proficiency with Cerner Electronic Health Record

Position Details

• Average 2.5–3 patients per hour

• Department Volume: ~230 patients per day

• Coverage: Double physician coverage at all times

• Backup Support Includes:

  • 24/7 Pediatrics and Hospitalist in-house

  • Ortho, STEMI call, ENT, Podiatry, Nephrology (no inpatient dialysis), OB, Behavioral Health

• Case Mix: Typical Emergency Department acuity, full spectrum of emergent and urgent conditions.
