General Surgery Physician – Ochsner Hancock, Bay St. Louis, MS

Experience: Prior general surgery experience preferred
Hourly Pay Rate: $1.00/hr (pay package discussed upon application)

What You'll Do

Provide general surgical services including appendectomies, gallbladder removals, lesion excisions, and I&D procedures
Collaborate with clinic and OR teams in a supportive hospital environment
Manage pre- and post-operative care for surgical patients
Follow facility protocols for safe, efficient patient care
Document procedures and patient interactions accurately
Ensure compliance with hospital policies and state regulations

What You Need

Required:

MS Medical License and MS DEA registration in hand
Prior experience in general surgery procedures
Clean background for temporary privileges
Ability to work independently in a hospital setting

Preferred:

Experience with outpatient and inpatient surgical cases
Knowledge of clinic and OR workflows
