Robotics Support SpecialistLocation: Nicholasville, KY Pay Rate: $19-$35/hr Schedule: Mon-Fri 9-5pm and alternate on weekends Job Type: ContractAbout the Opportunity: Eastridge Workforce Solutions is seeking a Robotics Support Specialist to join our client's growing team and support one of the largest deployments of in-store robots in the world. This position is responsible for remotely monitoring, operating, and troubleshooting robots deployed in customer environments. The ideal candidate is technically savvy, has experience with 3D environments, video gaming, virtual reality (VR), or technical support, and enjoys solving problems in a fast-paced environment.Key ResponsibilitiesRemotely monitor and troubleshoot robots using cloud-based virtual reality remote control systems.Identify and resolve technical issues to minimize disruptions to customer operations.Respond to customer calls and provide technical assistance to store associates and management.Utilize remote control tools to navigate and correct robotic issues.Communicate with field technicians to assist with troubleshooting and repairs.Escalate complex technical issues to engineering or higher-level support teams when necessary.Collaborate with project management and engineering teams to improve robotic operations.Monitor multiple systems and applications simultaneously.Provide excellent customer service while maintaining a professional and calm demeanor.QualificationsStrong computer skills and technical aptitude.Experience or familiarity with 3D gaming, virtual reality (VR), augmented reality (AR), or simulation environments.Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Ability to multitask and work with multiple software applications simultaneously.Strong attention to detail and pattern recognition skills.Ability to work independently and collaboratively.Comfortable working in a fast-paced, technology-driven environment.Ability to remain calm and professional when resolving urgent technical issues.Willingness to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed.Preferred SkillsExperience in technical support, IT help desk, or customer service.Background in PC gaming, console gaming, or 3D simulation environments.Familiarity with robotics, automation, or remote monitoring systems.Experience troubleshooting hardware or software issues.Experience providing remote assistance to customers or field technicians.
