Job#: 3040192 Job Description: Prior Authorization Analyst Location: St. Louis, Missouri (Partial Remote) Role Overview We are seeking two detail-oriented Prior Authorization Analysts for the surgical division. The role focuses on processing new authorizations for MRI and CT appointments, specifically for Blue Cross Blue Shield cases. The successful candidates will be responsible for reviewing clinical notes and documents to ensure accurate and timely processing of authorizations, with an expected daily volume of 30-35 cases. Key Responsibilities Process new authorizations for MRI and CT appointments. Work primarily with Blue Cross Blue Shield insurance cases. Review and interpret clinical notes and documentation to support authorization requests. Manage a daily workload of approximately 30-35 authorizations. Ensure all processed authorizations are accurate and complete. Required Qualifications Experience: Must have experience with Epic systems. Healthcare industry experience is also required. Preferred Qualifications Experience with Blue Cross Blue Shield (BCBS) authorizations is a nice-to-have.
