Now Hiring: FINANCIAL CONTROLLER | ON-SITE | ROCKINGHAM COUNTY We're partnering with a growing organization that is looking for an experienced Financial Controller to lead its accounting and financial operations. If you're a strategic finance leader who enjoys building processes, developing teams, and partnering with executive leadership, this is an outstanding opportunity to make a significant impact. Key Responsibilities of the Controller areas follows but not limited to the below: Lead all accounting operations including GL, AP, AR, Payroll, and Fixed Assets Oversee month-end and year-end close Prepare financial statements and ensure GAAP compliance Manage budgeting, forecasting, cash flow, and financial planning Lead audits and partner with external auditors and financial institutions Oversee job costing, contract accounting, and project financial reporting Facilitate monthly Cost-to-Complete meetings Develop and mentor the accounting team Strengthen internal controls and improve financial processes WHAT QUALIFICATIONS WILL CATCH OUR EYE: Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance CPA preferred 5+ years of progressive accounting leadership experience Strong knowledge of GAAP, budgeting, forecasting, and internal controls Advanced Excel and accounting software experience Excellent leadership and communication skills #J-18808-Ljbffr KODIAK Construction Recruiting & Staffing
