Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Senior Project Engineer at JB Pacific in San Diego, CA. The Senior Project Engineer will be responsible for project planning and collaborating with teams to ensure successful project delivery.

Qualifications

• Ability to work well in a team environment and demonstrate strong leadership skills
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Ability to identify project risks and drive them towards resolution
• Excellent organizational and time management abilities
• Organized with the ability to manage multiple deadlines, priorities and project responsibilities
• Strong understanding of construction documents, specifications and construction controls related to RFI's, submittals, subcontracts and procurement
• Experience reviewing subcontractor scopes, proposals, change orders, and project cost impacts
• Exposure to project budget management
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to lead field and client meetings
• Schedule management assistance with general understanding of activity sequences
• 2+ years of experience as a successful project engineer
• Bachelor's degree in construction management or degree in engineering related field preferred

The ideal candidate is self-motivated, has good written/oral communication skills, and has a strong work ethic. The position requires skill, industry knowledge and the ability to communicate effectively with a multitude of project stakeholders. 

Compensation & Benefits

• On-site Position: Full-time
• Starting Salary Range: $95k - $105k
• Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, 401k, Paid Holidays and Paid Time Off
