The Material Handler is responsible for the movement, handling, and organization of materials and products within the warehouse and production areas, ensuring efficient workflow and accurate inventory.

Job Responsibilities:

• Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently to transport materials.
• Pick and stage materials for production lines or outgoing shipments according to work orders and established procedures.
• Perform accurate inventory counts and maintain organized storage areas.
• Prepare outgoing shipments, including packaging, labeling, and loading onto trucks.
• Inspect materials for damage or defects and report any issues to supervisors.
• Adhere to all safety guidelines and company policies, including those related to material handling and equipment operation.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
• Assist with other warehouse and production tasks as needed.

Job Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1-2 years of experience in a warehouse or material handling role preferred.
• Proficiency in operating forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment (certification preferred).
• Ability to lift and move heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) regularly.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Basic computer skills for inventory management systems.
• Ability to read and understand work orders and safety instructions.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and stand for extended periods.
