What you’ll need to succeed:

• Active and valid PT licensure in California
• Experience working with pediatric populations, ideally in K-12 settings
• Ability to adapt physical therapy plans to the unique needs of children
• Strong communication and collaboration skills with teachers, staff, and parents
• A commitment to fostering a supportive, inclusive learning environment

What your day-to-day will look like:

• Deliver individualized and group physical therapy services to students from kindergarten through high school
• Assess students’ functional mobility and develop targeted intervention plans
• Maintain detailed progress notes and documentation in compliance with school and state guidelines
• Work closely with special education teams to ensure cohesive, goal-driven programs
• Provide education and guidance to staff and families regarding mobility aids, exercises, and best practices
• Contribute to IEP meetings as the PT subject matter expert
• Support a caseload on-site for 16 hours each week, spread over four half days
