About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Electro Mechanical Technician to join our team in Miami, FL. This role plays a critical part in maintaining and troubleshooting production equipment within the food and beverage industry. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience, particularly with food machinery, and must be comfortable working in a bilingual (Spanish-English) environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on food processing machinery.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical components including PLCs, sensors, and frequency converters.
• Install, calibrate, and maintain control boards and automation systems.
• Conduct welding and other mechanical repairs as needed.
• Maintain electrical systems ranging from 120V to 240V.
• Document maintenance activities and ensure compliance with safety and operational standards.
• Communicate effectively with team members and management in both Spanish and English.

Required Qualifications

• Proven hands-on experience working with food machinery.
• Strong knowledge of PLCs, frequency converters, and control boards.
• Familiarity with electronic circuits, sensors, and troubleshooting tools.
• Mechanical maintenance skills including welding.
• Electrical maintenance experience with 120V240V systems.
• Bilingual: Proficiency in Spanish and English is required (Spanish is primarily used by the manager).
• Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced production environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in a food production or beverage manufacturing facility.
• Technical diploma or certification in Mechatronics, Industrial Maintenance, or a related field.
• OSHA safety certification.
