We support weekly and monthly appreciation and spirit events.RN Responsibilities:Provide comprehensive nursing care to residents based on their individual needs and care plansAdminister medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians, ensuring accurate documentation and compliance with regulationsMonitor residents' vital signs, assess their health condition, and promptly report any changes or concerns to the appropriate medical personnelCollaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement effective care plansAssist in coordinating and supervising the work of licensed practical nurses (LPNs) and certified nursing assistants (CNAs) to ensure the delivery of consistent, safe, and compassionate careEducate residents and their families on health management, disease prevention, and available support servicesMaintain accurate and up-to-date medical records, including electronic documentation, in adherence to facility policies and regulatory guidelinesParticipate in quality improvement initiatives, staff training, and professional development activities to enhance your knowledge and skillsQualifications:Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of FloridaMinimum of 2 years of experience in nursing, preferably in a long-term care or nursing home settingSound knowledge of nursing principles, practices, and procedures, with a focus on geriatric careExcellent clinical assessment and critical thinking skills to evaluate and respond to residents' health needs effectivelyStrong communication skills to interact with residents, families, and interdisciplinary team members with empathy and professionalismAbility to multitask, prioritize, and adapt to a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detailProficiency in electronic medical record (EMR) systems and basic computer skillsCurrent CPR certificationDemonstrated commitment to continuous learning and professional developmentMust be able to pass level 2 fingerprinting with an Eligible status.Please see the link to the new Care Provider Background Screening Clearinghouse Education and Awareness website.This site was implemented under the directive of House Bill 531 (2025).
