Senior Project Manager - Aviation (Los Angeles)

STV is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager - Aviation to join our national aviation team. This position may assist aviation clients onsite throughout the western U.S. who are in need of our assistance with aviation projects. Client sites will include Denver, CO, Phoenix, AZ, Los Angeles, CA, or San Francisco, CA.The Senior Project Manager’s overall objective is to build and maintain a positive client relationship, and to achieve or exceed the estimated profit margin for projects.Job Responsibilities:Organizes cross-functional activities, for coordination of project activities for the completion of the project (i.e., project deliverables, schedule and budget)Capable of managing and directing the development of proposals, project initiation, project execution/control and project closeout for planning, Environmental Impact Statements, design and/or construction projects, and is responsible for project budgets, extra work requests and invoicingParticipates in, or leads project-specific marketing, proposal preparation and presentations for successful project selectionPlans the complete project execution and develops the project manualSchedules and monitors manpower requirements against the project budget/spending performance, including managing activities related to project scope, schedule, cost, cash flow, quality, communications, coordination, manpower, discipline requirements, resources, procurement, and risk elements required to optimize client service, quality, and fiscal responsibilityEstablishes contractor-client liaison network to keep interested parties informed of project planning, start date, and work and budget progressMonitors the project from initiation through delivery including development, execution and updating project manpowerForms a project work team that meets regularly to coordinate responsibility for assignment and execution of tasks according to scheduleSubmits documents to Federal, state, and local authorities for code compliance review and submits documentation for the various permits applications as requiredHolds regularly-scheduled project progress meetings to review that the project contract’s terms, conditions, and specifications are being metEnsures project personnel adhere to federal and state regulatory requirements and company policies and manpower, equipment, materials, and quality procedures are recognized for timely intervention and resolutionMay select, supervise, develop, and evaluate personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the functionRequired QualificationsBachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Architectural, Construction Management or similar designationMinimum 15 years of construction and/or project management experienceProven experience operating in a project management or leadership capacityAbility to work independently and effectively in field environmentsStrong written and verbal communication skillsWorking knowledge of current technologies and tools used in project deliveryThis position is contingent upon client approvalExperience managing construction in active/operational airport environments#LI-AW1 #LI-ONSITECompensation Range:$187,591.53 - $214,390.32STV offers the following benefits • Health insurance, including an option with a Health Savings Account • Dental insurance • Vision insurance • Flexible Spending Accounts (Healthcare, Dependent Care and Transit and Parking where applicable) • Disability insurance • Life Insurance and Accidental Death & Dismemberment • 401(k) Plan • Retirement Counseling • Employee Assistance Program • Paid Time Off (starting at 16 days) • Paid Holidays (9 days) • Back-Up Dependent Care (up to 10 days per year) • Parental Leave (up to 80 hours) • Continuing Education Program • Professional Licensure and Society MembershipsSTV is committed to paying all of its employees in a fair, equitable, and transparent manner.
