What You’ll Bring:

• Active Texas Special Education Teacher license (K-5)
• Experience in special education settings, with expertise in case management
• Familiarity and comfort working with students with autism or other disabilities is highly desired
• Strong organizational skills, especially in managing IEPs, data collection, and lesson planning
• Ability to guide and supervise a team (3-4 paraprofessionals in a classroom setting)
• Commitment to fostering an inclusive, empowering learning environment for all students

Key Responsibilities:

• Teach a life skills curriculum (grades K-2 or 3rd-5th) to a classroom of about 15 students
• Oversee daily instructional activities and adapt lessons to meet individual student needs
• Manage all aspects of special education case management, including IEP development and data tracking
• Collaborate with paraprofessionals, providing guidance and support throughout the week
• Foster a positive, structured environment that embraces the strengths and potential of every learner
