Accountant

We are a site development company in San Antonio seeking an experienced accountant with a background in civil construction. This is a hands‑on role supporting project accounting, job costing, and financial reporting for active dirt‑moving and infrastructure projects across Texas. What you’ll do Manage job cost accounting, WIP reporting, and project P&Ls Process A/P and A/R with project-level tracking Reconcile subcontractor pay applications and lien releases Support month-end close and financial statement preparation Interface with project managers on budgets, forecasts, and variances What you need 3+ years of accounting experience in civil construction or site development Proficiency with Sage 100 and Sage 300 Solid understanding of job costing, retainage, and construction-specific billing Strong Excel skills and attention to detail Experience with union or prevailing wage payroll a plus Stable, growing company with a strong backlog of private and public work Competitive salary and benefits Opportunity to shape accounting processes as we scale #J-18808-Ljbffr American Edge Partners
