Prep And Line Cook

An experienced Line Cook to prepare food to the Bonton Farms Market's menu specifications and to set up stations for menu. Line Cook duties will consist of assisting team members with their daily tasks. The successful candidate will play a key role in contributing to our customer satisfaction and acquisition goals. Bonton Farms is the largest urban farm in the United States with two locations and over 40-acres in production.

• Set up and stocking stations with all necessary supplies
• Prepare food for service (e.g. chopping vegetables, butchering meat, or preparing sauces)
  • Medium level knife skills
  • Produce preparation & storage knowledge
• Cook menu items in cooperation with the rest of the kitchen staff
• Follow Bonton Farms recipe instructions
• Stock inventory appropriately
• Ensure that food comes out simultaneously, in high quality and in a timely fashion
• Comply with nutrition and sanitation regulations and safety standards
• Maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers and customers
• Great time management skills
• Ability to lift at least 15lbs
• Capable of standing and bending continuously for periods exceeding 5 hours

Compensation: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
