Join Our Team as an OB Hospitalist

We are seeking dedicated professionals to become part of our OB Hospitalist team, which includes:

• 1 Full-Time (FT) and 1 Part-Time (PT) OB Hospitalist
• 3 PRN OB Hospitalists
• 1 OBGYN
• 4 Advanced Practice Providers (APPs)
• 2 Midwives

Our facility supports approximately births per year and requires 7 shifts per month , each lasting 24 hours. We have a Level II NICU that is staffed around the clock by Pediatric Hospitalists and NICU Nurses, along with an on-site blood bank.

This position also offers a teaching opportunity for Family Medicine Residents and Medical Students, who are present in Labor & Delivery 24/7. In-house specialists are available for consultation and collaboration in various areas, including:

• Cardiology
• Orthopedics
• Reconstructive Surgery
• Anesthesiology

We maintain a collaborative relationship with a regional perinatology team to ensure high-risk obstetric management and seamless specialty consultations.

Candidate Qualifications

We are looking for candidates who meet the following criteria:

• Graduated from an accredited medical or osteopathic medical school
• Completed a relevant residency program
• Board certified or board eligible (must achieve board certification within 3 years of eligibility)
• Must be able to obtain medical staff privileges at our facility
• Exceptional communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team
• Licensed or eligible for a physician license in the State of Iowa, including Iowa Controlled Substance Certificate and Federal DEA Certificate

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a highly competitive compensation package, which includes:

• Base Salary: $400,000 per year
• Bonus Package: $150,000
• Moving Allowance: Up to $15,000
• Annual CME Allowance: $6,000
• Eligibility for Public Student Loan Forgiveness
