Job Details: Job Location: Hollywood, MD 20636, Position Type: Full Time, Salary Range: $20.00 - $23.00 Hourly, Job Category: Accounting OVERVIEW: The Burch Oil Company is a regional leader in the distribution of petroleum products and propane. The Company markets its products through Burch Oil, Burch Oil of Charles County and Burch Propane. The Company sells and distributes these products to residential and commercial customers throughout southern Maryland and parts of Virginia. SUMMARY OF THE POSITION: This position is responsible for the daily flow of documents and information associated with deliveries, pricing, Accounts Payable, etc. The incumbent receives daily paperwork from all facilities, processes in a timely manner, and distributes to the appropriate person for further action. MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES: Process and maintain Accounts Payable transactions Maintain daily pricing sheets and update pricing as needed Review daily shift reports for accuracy and report discrepancies Prepare and update spreadsheets and reports for management, the Finance Department, and auditors Provide backup support for Accounts Receivable functions Assist with other accounting and administrative duties as assigned Acts as backup to Accounts Receivable Auditor Completes other tasks as requested Qualifications: REQUIRED SKILLS & COMPETENCIES: Able to work in various software systems as required Able to work in Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Email and Excel Must be dependable and reliable Must have solid attention to detail #J-18808-Ljbffr Burch Oil
