• Perform commercial electrical installation surveys and evaluate three-phase power systems, line voltage switches, and electrical disconnects.
• Disconnect electrical equipment, motors, and lighting systems during installation or modernization projects.
• Create and interpret single-line electrical diagrams for commercial systems.
• Install and support commercial fire alarm systems, including conduit, wiring, smoke detectors, heat detectors, addressable modules, and related components.
• Assist with fire alarm installations for commercial building projects.
• Support project managers with scheduling, material procurement, job site coordination, and project documentation.
• Monitor subcontractor performance, conduct site visits, and provide project status updates.
• Ensure installations meet quality standards, electrical codes, and project specifications.
• Assist with project closeout activities, punch list completion, and corrective actions.
• Promote workplace safety by following safety procedures, conducting site inspections, and ensuring proper PPE usage.
• Build and maintain professional relationships with customers, vendors, and subcontractors.
• Participate in ongoing training and stay current with electrical codes, fire alarm standards, and industry best practices.

• High school diploma or equivalent required; technical or trade school training in electrical systems preferred.
• Journeyman Electrician license required.
• OSHA 10 certification required.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in commercial electrical installation or a related field preferred.
• Strong ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics, and single-line diagrams.
• Working knowledge of commercial electrical systems, three-phase power, line voltage systems, and electrical troubleshooting.
• Working knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NFPA 70); familiarity with NFPA 72 is preferred.
• Experience supporting commercial fire alarm system installations is an advantage.
• Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to project sites.
• Strong communication, organizational, problem-solving, and teamwork skills with a commitment to safety and quality.
