Practice owners retain full ownership and clinical control while MedCBO provides non‑clinical business and operational support. Overview This opportunity is for dermatology physicians who want to practice independently while receiving structured operational support for non‑clinical business functions of their own practice. Physicians establish or transition into an independently operated medical practice, governed by a state‑licensed entity. MedCBO does not direct patient care. Opportunity Description Start a new private practice Transition from employment to ownership Convert an existing practice to a supported model Relocate and establish a practice in a new market Physician Responsibilities Provide care within the specialty scope of dermatology Develop professional relationships within the medical community Coordinate payer credentialing with MedCBO as required Determine clinical services offered Manage clinical quality and patient experience Maintain final clinical authority and decision‑making Administrative Support Provided by MedCBO Practice formation coordination Billing and collections management Payer contract negotiation Financial infrastructure and reporting Operational workflows and staffing systems Technology platform and implementation (EHR, telehealth, workflow systems) Credentialing, enrollments, and facility privileging coordination Supply‑chain and vendor coordination Requirements MD or DO with an unrestricted license in good standing in the intended state of practice Board Certified or Board Eligible in dermatology (or appropriate specialty) Eligible for hospital and/or facility privileges where applicable Ability to obtain professional liability coverage at standard market rates No current limitations, exclusions, or disciplinary restrictions that would prevent independent practice Interest in the independent practice model Preferred Desire for practice ownership Community‑based care interest Leadership or program development interest Location Multiple U.S. markets available (urban, suburban, and rural).
