Travel Outpatient Orthopedic Physical Therapist - $2,072 per week

Overview Jackson Therapy Partners is seeking a travel Outpatient Physical Therapist for a travel job in Midlothian, Virginia. Responsibilities Evaluates assigned patients and develops, implements and modifies treatment plans in accordance with patient needs, goals and physician direction. Responsible for delegation and direction of discipline-specific therapy services for assigned patients. Ensures design of functional treatment programs allowing for effective return to community activities. Serves as an educator of patients, families, students and coworkers. Performs professional duties associated with patient care, development of therapy services and program delivery. Assignment Details Start Date: 06/08/2026 Duration: 13 weeks Hours: 40 hours per week Shift: 8 hours Employment Type: Travel Specialty: Physical Therapist Discipline: Therapy Location: Midlothian, VA Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program approved by the APTA. Active Virginia state physical therapy license required to start the assignment. BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required. Experience in outpatient physical therapy required. Ability to perform comprehensive evaluations, develop treatment plans, write goals, and complete timely documentation in compliance with state and federal guidelines. Familiarity with functional treatment programs and safe patient handling techniques. Adherence to professional codes of conduct and state Practice Act. Maintain required continuing education and licensure in good standing. Preferred Qualifications Experience supervising students and providing clinical education. Experience with documentation of letters of medical necessity and charge entry. Prior exposure to performance improvement initiatives and clinical competency programs.
