Title: Melting Area Night Shift Operator

Location: Sevierville, TN 37862

Pay Rate: $20/hr.

Duration: 06 months (with possible of extension)

Shift : Sunday Night – Thursday Night, 9:30 PM – 6:00 AM Overtime: Some overtime may be required

Position Summary

• We are seeking two temporary Production Operators to support production needs on the night shift in a small foundry operation. Candidates with previous manufacturing or production experience are preferred.
• This is a hands-on production role that requires standing, lifting, bending, and performing physical tasks in a foundry environment. Employees will be required to wear a full-helmet PAPR (Powered Air-Purifying Respirator), which provides filtered air while working.

Education Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.

Job Responsibilities

• Clean pouring boards using appropriate equipment and troughs and set up boards for pouring.
• Turn on, monitor, and maintain the wet scrubber system.
• Load alloy into lazy pans and maintain required production records.
• Load and operate the jaw crusher and bucket conveyor.
• Weigh and record dross cleaned from furnaces by the pouring crew.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Remove nickel/aluminum alloy dust as required.
• Assist with training new operators when needed.
• Clean the mill as required.
• Properly dispose of hazardous and non-hazardous waste in designated satellite accumulation areas.
• Follow all site safety procedures, work instructions, and PPE requirements.

Skills & Qualifications

• Previous manufacturing or production experience preferred.
• Comfortable working in a foundry or manufacturing environment.
• Ability to stand, lift, bend, and perform physical tasks throughout the shift.
• Ability and willingness to wear a full-helmet PAPR while performing required duties.
• Ability to follow safety procedures and work instructions.
• Willingness to learn additional job-specific skills through on-the-job training
