Substance Abuse Counselor

$22 per hour

Detour Behavioral Health Inc.

Huntington Park, CA

Responsibilities:

Conduct sessions as scheduled by Program Director

Process admissions on new participants

Conduct Assessment and Treatment Planning sessions for participants

Assist participants with all case management needs (legal docs, employment, housing, referral to physical and mental healthcare, etc.)

Conduct individual and group counseling sessions as assigned

Document all sessions

Communicate any concerns about participants to Program Director

Participate in Case Review

Qualifications:

Certified Substance Abuse Counselor (CCAPP, CAADE, CADTP)

Current TB test, Health Screening Report, CPR/First Aid Cert.

Must pass FBI/DOJ live scan background check

Employment Type: Full Time
Years Experience: 1 - 3 years
Salary: $22 - $30 Hourly
