Hospitalist Physician Opportunity in Massachusetts Near Providence, RI | 7-On / 7-Off | No Nights

Healthcare United is seeking a full-time Hospitalist Physician to join a large, physician-owned multispecialty group in Southeast Massachusetts, located near Providence, Rhode Island. This is an excellent opportunity for a Hospitalist looking for a stable, collegial, team-based inpatient medicine role with a 7-on / 7-off schedule, no required overnight shifts, and strong specialist support. Schedule Day rounding shift: 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM Admitting swing shift: 1:00 PM to 10:00 PM Candidates must be open to either day rounding or swing shift assignment Additional shifts may be available for physicians interested in extra work Responsibilities Inpatient role at local community hospitals in Southeast Massachusetts Manage adult inpatient medicine patients ICU admissions are rare No invasive procedures required No intubations required No ICU management required No major trauma Tertiary care resources available through major academic hospitals in Rhode Island and Boston Strong specialist support available for patient management Case managers and additional support staff readily available Emphasis on patient satisfaction, teamwork, and efficient care Supportive, collegial, and well-trained Hospitalist team Epic EMR used at both hospitals Voice-recognition software available App-based charge capture and billing system used for efficiency HIPAA-compliant secure texting app used for team communication Qualifications MD or DO Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine Active Massachusetts medical license or ability to obtain Must be eligible for credentialing at local hospitals Hospitalist experience preferred Strong inpatient clinical skills Comfortable managing adult inpatient medicine cases Strong communication and teamwork skills Patient-focused approach to care Must be willing to work either day rounding or admitting swing shift No J-1 visa sponsorship available No H-1B visa sponsorship available Benefits Competitive salary based on training and experience Full-time employed opportunity 7-on / 7-off schedule No required overnight shifts Additional shift opportunities may be available Malpractice coverage Health insurance 401k retirement plan Moving expenses CME allowance Physician-owned and physician-managed group Strong specialist backup and clinical support Collegial team environment Location Approximately one hour from Boston, Approximately 30 minutes from Cape Cod Coastal area with excellent schools and quality of life. #J-18808-Ljbffr healthcare-united
