The district for this position will include Colorado, Utah, Idaho, Nevada, Montana, Wyoming, Arizona, New Mexico and parts of Eastern Washington. This is a remote position with the ideal candidate residing in Denver, CO, Phoenix, AZ or Salt Lake City, UT. Key Responsibilities The District Business Manager (DBM) has full responsibility for delivering and executing the district’s business strategy and tactics, developing strong business relationships with partners, people development and building a balanced talent pipeline. The DBM is responsible for the Surgical Vision business within the assigned district and will collaborate closely with other functional partners to achieve aligned goals. Managing the US Cataract and Refractive franchise for AMO in their respective district geography. Account Executives, Capital Sales Specialists, Premium Practice Specialists, and Key Account Executives with dotted line oversight of our Laser and Refractive Laser Specialists. Hire, Train and Retain a high-caliber team of sales individuals suited to their core specialty area. Advance innovative ways of approaching the business and share those ideas with Peers/J&J Surgical Vision Leadership. Performance-Manage individuals across the team ensuring optimal sales output, team performance, team synergy, and individual development. Work within an assigned annual budget, allocate accordingly to the team and ensure compliance with applicable corporate goals, policies, and procedures. BA/BS degree or equivalent is required or United States Armed Forces Veterans with military experience at the E6 pay grade or greater. Minimum of 5 years relevant business experience is required, paired with proven leadership capabilities (training courses, certifications, etc.) including the ability to lead and manage through change and strong leadership principles behavior alignment: A thorough knowledge and understanding of the Surgical Cataract Business; Ophthalmology sales experience is highly preferred. Up to 60% travel required, which may include overnight and/or weekends.
