You will develop robust, repeatable processes that improve quality, increase throughput, and support the launch of next-generation products.Key ResponsibilitiesLead process development and optimization initiatives for cable assembly and termination technologies, including laser welding, resistance welding, induction soldering, and other advanced joining methods.Design and execute structured problem-solving experiments using DOE, 8D, 5 Whys, Six Sigma DMAIC, and other analytical methodologies.Establish process windows, manufacturing standards, best practices, and work instructions that improve consistency, scalability, and operational efficiency.Develop validation, qualification, and process control strategies to ensure products are production-ready and capable of meeting demanding customer requirements.Analyze manufacturing data using statistical tools and software such as Minitab and Excel to identify opportunities for quality and yield improvements.Drive root cause investigations and implement sustainable corrective actions that reduce variation and improve process capability.Partner with suppliers and technology providers to evaluate and implement emerging manufacturing technologies.Collaborate with product development, engineering, quality, and operations teams to ensure new products and processes transition smoothly into manufacturing.Serve as a subject matter expert for process performance, providing technical guidance across the organization.Present project updates, recommendations, and technical findings to stakeholders and leadership teams.What Makes You SuccessfulYou are a hands-on engineer who enjoys solving difficult manufacturing challenges through experimentation, analysis, and collaboration.
