Position Type: OPERATIONS/ CLEANING STAFF Date Posted: 8/24/2022 Location: Schnecksville, PA Position Definition The Cleaning Staff shall be responsible for all cleaning activities for CLIU #21 office locations. Relationship The Cleaning Staff shall be directly responsible to the Operations Manager. Qualifications Education / Experience Experience in all aspects of cleaning buildings. High school diploma or GED, preferred. Skills / Knowledge Demonstrates the ability to understand and follow written instructions, work orders, and schedules. Demonstrates the ability to exercise good judgment. Demonstrates the ability to work in a team environment. Demonstrates the ability to maintain complete confidentiality. Demonstrates excellent interpersonal skills, demonstrated by patience, understanding, and congeniality. Demonstrates excellent oral and written communication skills. Demonstrates the ability to organize, plan, and manage job responsibilities in order to complete assignments with minimal supervision. Demonstrates the ability to complete tasks with attention to detail and accuracy. Attends work regularly at assigned work hours subject to lawful leave rights and responsibilities. Physical Ability to stand, bend, stoop, sit, lift, reach, communicate (vision, hearing, and speech), and convey sufficient weight to safely and effectively carry out functions, duties, and responsibilities. Ability to operate cleaning equipment. Ability to independently ambulate in and around work locations. Ability to travel to and from assigned work locations without employer support. Ability to exhibit good manual dexterity to effectively carry out functions, duties, and responsibilities. Authority The Cleaning Staff will have the authority to perform all functions listed below in accordance with established policies and procedures. Functions/Duties/Responsibilities To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential function/duty/responsibility at acceptable standards. Essential Cleans CLIU #21 office locations, including, but not limited to, rest rooms, floors, offices, conference rooms, kitchen areas, lobby, loading dock, and all-purpose room. Disposes of all trash and recycling into dumpsters. Works with the Operations Manager on semi-annual building cleaning projects. Responsible for building security after building staff leaves the premises. Secondary Makes coffee for groups and cleans up when finished. Assists visitors who are using the facility in the evening.
