Specializing in ground-up commercial construction projects across sectors including healthcare, education, hospitality, office, retail, municipal, and mixed-use developments, they are seeking an experienced Construction Manager to join their growing Atlanta team .Position Overvi ewThe Construction Manager will be responsible for overseeing the successful execution of commercial construction projects from preconstruction through completion. This individual will provide leadership across project operations, coordinating with project teams, subcontractors, owners, architects, and consultants to ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently, on schedule, and within budge t.The ideal candidate will have strong experience managing complex commercial construction projects, leading field operations, resolving challenges, and driving successful project outcome s.Key Responsibilit iesOversee the day-to-day execution of ground-up commercial construction projects from mobilization through final complet ionLead coordination between project teams, subcontractors, owners, architects, engineers, and consulta ntsManage project schedules, site logistics, sequencing, and overall construction operati onsProvide leadership and direction to Superintendents, Project Engineers, Assistant Project Managers, and subcontractor te amsMonitor project progress, identify potential issues, and implement solutions to maintain schedule and quality objecti vesReview construction documents, drawings, specifications, RFIs, submittals, and change ord ersSupport project planning, procurement, subcontractor coordination, and construction strategy developm entAssist with budget tracking, cost control, forecasting, and financial reporting throughout the project lifecy cleConduct regular site visits, progress meetings, and project coordination meeti ngsEnsure compliance with company safety policies, OSHA standards, and project-specific requireme ntsMaintain high-quality construction standards through inspections, quality control processes, and issue resolut ionBuild and maintain strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and project stakehold ersSupport preconstruction activities including constructability reviews, value engineering, and project plann ing.Qualificat ionsBachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field prefe rred8+ years of experience overseeing commercial construction proj ectsProven experience managing ground-up commercial construction projects across sectors such as healthcare, education, hospitality, office, retail, municipal, institutional, or mixed-use developm entsStrong understanding of construction operations, scheduling, subcontractor coordination, and project execu tionExperience leading project teams and managing multiple stakeholders throughout the construction lifec ycleAbility to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and contract docum entsProficiency with construction management software including Procore, Bluebeam, Microsoft Project, Primavera P6, or similar platf ormsStrong leadership, communication, organization, and problem-solving sk illsExperience managing project schedules, quality control, safety, and risk mitiga tionKnowledge of the Atlanta commercial construction market and established subcontractor relationships is highly desir #J-18808-Ljbffr International Association of Plumbing and Mechanical Officials (IAPMO)
