Adjunct Instructor - English

Job Description and Position Requirements Penn State Altoona invites applications for a part‑time English instructor opening to teach English Composition for the Fall 2026 Semester . Courses will be taught in person on the Penn State Altoona campus. Requirements and Qualifications A master's degree or PhD in English or a related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience is required. Prior experience teaching at a college level is strongly preferred. Background Checks/Clearances Employment with the University will require successful completion of background check(s) in accordance with University policies.
