Community Support Volunteer

Nation of Diversity is seeking compassionate, reliable, and community-minded volunteers to support our Saturday The Circle Speaks sessions . Volunteers will help create a welcoming, safe, and engaging environment for participants while supporting activities focused on mental health wellness, meaningful conversations, community connection, and support for individuals experiencing homelessness.

Key Responsibilities

Volunteers may assist with:

• Welcoming and registering participants as they arrive.
• Helping set up and organize the space before each session.
• Supporting The Circle Speaks discussion and awareness sessions.
• Helping facilitate or coordinate games and interactive activities.
• Supporting career conversations and other educational or empowerment activities.
• Assisting with the distribution and serving of food and refreshments.
• Helping organize donated food, supplies, and other materials.
• Engaging respectfully with participants and helping create a welcoming environment.
• Supporting group activities and encouraging positive participation.
• Assisting participants with basic information about available programs and resources.
• Helping maintain a clean, safe, and organized environment throughout the session.
• Assisting with clean-up and packing materials after the session.
• Supporting the program team with other activities needed to ensure the session runs smoothly.
• Communicating any participant concerns or issues to the appropriate program coordinator.
